As Executive Director of Human Resources for the Vaccine & Gene Therapy Institute of Florida (VGTI Florida®), Ms. Hacket leads and develops the HR initiatives for a collaborative and diverse, multidisciplinary team of scientists and administrative staff from around the world. She incorporates thoughtful and effective organizational development training, talent management, and employee relations to promote a strong and positive institutional culture for VGTI Florida employees who come from all corners of the globe.
Ms. Hacket is interested and invested in the professional growth of every individual at VGTI Florida. She develops initiatives and organizational development programs, to positively impact all levels of employees. Her sound knowledge of regulations and compliance, along with creative development of policy and procedures to cultivate productive employer-employee relationships are resulting in sound solutions for the organization.
Prior to joining VGTI Florida Ms. Hacket was Human Resources Consultant at Ossanna Consulting in Chicago, IL. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the United Way, St. Lucie County.
Ms. Hacket has a B.S in Business Administration from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and has earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. She also holds an SPHR certification and is expected to obtain her Ed.D in Organizational Development from Argosy University Florida in 2014.
